We work with the highest regard for our planet its communities. We created JOAGO not only as a retail company but as a community of like-minded environmental-enthusiasts. Through our business practices & additional environmental projects, we hope to lead a generation that will live to see the elimination of ocean waste.
Ocean waste
Joago ocean waste products reduce demand for virgin plastic and act as conversation pieces that help raise awareness about plastic pollution and the actions we can take to prevent plastic from polluting the planet that we must conserve & protect.
Pineapple waste
The journey begins in Philippines. We were shocked at the environmental impact of mass leather production. Inspired by the abundance of natural resources, including the use of plant fibres in traditional weaving such as the delicate Barong Tagalog garments.
Ocean waste material
Our ocean waste is made entirely from ocean and landfill waste, such as industrial plastic, fabric scraps from clothing manufacturing companies and other companies, old carpets "ghost nets" & fishing nets.

Warehouse conditions
Our warehouse meets the highest environmental standards. Our watches are kept in a solar-powered, air-conditioned facility for quality protection. We also save energy in our warehouse through using LED lighting and a cooling tower to prevent and monitor over-consumption. Our warehouse building is ISO14001:2015 Certified (Environmental Standards) and LEED Gold Certified as well.

Our focus in R&D & Manufacturing allow us to bring the best design & quality of our products that are also sustainable. Our mission to disrupt the wasteful practices inherent in fashion goes beyond reinventing the way products are being made.
We hope to see the eradication of ocean plastics within our generation. Recycling alone is not enough to solve the plastic crisis. To stop it from entering our oceans, we must reduce the amount of single-use plastic being produced and maintain waste management throughout a products life.
The main purpose of our social enterprise is to initiate substantial ocean collection projects and work to compile and organize what is collected to be up-cycled & transform into the products we will be creating.
